I'm experiencing some character encoding issues when using copy/pase from OpenOffice/Libre Office Calc to PlanMaker 2012.
Special Polish characters are not preserved:

Copy/paste for Writer to TextMaker or even from web browser to PlanMaker works OK.

Could you please attach a sample file or send it to forum(at)softmaker.de? Thank you!

Attached a sample file.

I think this happens because when I copy from Calc to PlanMaker default paste format is set to 'Sylk' (Paste Special -> Formatted text (RTF) or Paste Special -> Unformatted text both work without problems)

Aslo copying form PlanMaker to Calc works. This only happens when copying from Calc to PlanMaker.

You attached an .ods file. PlanMaker does not yet support .ods files (neither read nor write). This is on the wish list for future versions.

Yes, I know.
+1 for ods support btw.

I made this file in OpenOffice. To test the bug you'll have to open it in OpenOffice Calc and copy/paste to PlanMaker.

Yes, you are right.
I can now reproduce the problem here and informed the developers. Thank you!

It seems that this is not a bug. It is the same when pasting from Open Office to Excel.

Reason: The text is copied in various formats into the clipboard: Sylk, RTF and Unicode text. Sylk is an explicit spreadsheet format, so it's preferred, but as it's very old it can't transport unicode characters.

Workaround: Paste/Special, select Unformatted text. This works.

Actually the reason why I posted this issue here is that I don't have any problems when copying from Calc to Excel (we have MS Office 2010 at work). Using 'paste special...' can be really annoying if I have to do a lot of copy/paste tasks.

I would prefer RTF format for copy/paste operations (I think it's default for OpenOffice or Excel). Wouldn't it be better to make it default format instead of 'old' Sylk?

I will refer this as a suggestion for future versions to the developers.
