What script lines could I use to apply a style, for example, "Heading 4", to text in TextMaker. Manually, I can put my cursor on a line of text and then invoke "Format | Paragraph Style..." and then "Show: All Styles" and then choose "Heading 4". But I need to know how to accomplish this in a script.

BasicMaker does not yet support character or paragraph styles. Therefore it is not possible to create such a script.

You used the word "yet." Will BasicMaker support character and paragraph styles? If so, is this capability high or low on the list of things to do?

It's on our to-do list with normal priority.
