OpenOffice has a very flexible auto-correct feature (with ability to replace using text with formatting features - eg. replace "teh" with boldened "the"), and some of it may already be possible by utilising BasicMaker.

Specifically, I'm after an optional ability to automatically superscript text after an ordinal number (eg. if I'm writing a date like 24th January 2011, I want the "th" to automatically be superscripted).

The next version of TextMaker will have this function.
