I'm guessing by the 2006, 2008, 2010 numberiing, that it's every two years. Is this right ?

When is the next major release due ?

Do interim minor builds only contain fixes, or do they also have new features sometimes ?

There is no fixed release date yet for the next version. We will inform you as soon as we have more information.
