Hi, before i start, I have to say how absolutely amazed I was (and still am) by such impressive software for Win Mob! What a failure Microsoft are! But here we have an amazing powerful Office software, very very impressive! Breathtaking!
But now for my issues:
Whilst trying out Textmaker for the trial period, I have already spotted two bugs. One, when choosing the keyboard to display, it hides the text beneath it, this is a problem when the curser is within the place of the keyboard space, it should really scroll down so that one can see the text chosen above the keyboard!
Two, when making a pdf (very impressive), if there is not enough memory (e.g. jpg in doc), it notifies the user, but then hangs, and I couldn't cancel the job!
Now, you've notified me that I can't buy Textmaker alone. Why not? Surely it is your interests that people should be able to buy just what they need for a lower price? Surely you are aware of 'other' methods of acquiring software these days! I would of course rather buy it, but it has to be reasonable! So how can you not sell one program by itself cheaper???!

Hi, yes, iPaq 2190 WM5, not too much system RAM there, (about 30mb), so not blaming you for that! Also, I meant that the text should scroll *up* when keyboard is selected.

I will refer your suggstion as an feature request to our developers for future service packs.

Regarding your second problem (PDF): Can you please send us the file to forum(at)softmaker.de, that freezes your TextMaker when you try to export it into PDF? Thank you!

OK, i'll see about that. Actually I can't say it really freezes, it's just that you can't cancel the pdf job. It first tries, notifies me that not enough memory, OK, then carries on as if trying again, but nothing really happens and when i press cancel, the button responds, but won't cancel. So I killed the whole program from Memory in Settings. So I wouldn't really call it a total hang, like sometimes happens when opening the program (I've got it on SD card). When that occurs I have to reset!

I would still like to hear your response about selling the software programs separately. Even though the desktop programs are usually sold as a package, I think that in regard to the Windows Mobile software these should be sold separately, as many people would just like the Word facility etc. The cost of the whole package makes it prohibited for somebody who is really only interested in one of your wonderful programs!

Thanks for that, as I'm sure many more people would benfit if your programs were more affordable! Also, I think this can be the main way to counteract all the pirate software so readiy available nowadays.... Make the real stuff cheaper!! A good way to start would be to split up your package. Especially useful for the personal user.

We don't offer the individual components ourselves, but Handango sells TextMaker for Windows Mobile separately.
