Hi. I just installed the software. When i click on Help/Content the PDF-viewer is unable to locate the manual.

Now, I know I can download them, and I've already done it. But I would like to be able to use this Help/Content button to open them. How can I do? Create a specific directory?

Hello,

you should find the PDF files directly in the application folder where you have installed SoftMaker Office 2008.

This means I won't be able to use the ?/Content button to open the manual directly, I guess...

No. This means that SoftMaker Office didn't find a suitable PDF viewer. It tries to find Acrobat Reader, gv, xpdf, konqueror and one or two others. When it doesn't find anything in the path, it gives up.

So, just make sure that acroread or another PDF viewer is accessible via the file path.

But when I click on the ?/Content button, the pdf-viewer (Document Viewer 2.26.1) actually pops-up, but it says "Impossible to open the file - No file or directory"...

So why do you think the problem is the pdf-viewer?

Same problem here, with Text|Planmaker in Xubuntu (Ubuntu + XFCE)... I guess evince is searching the .pdf file in a wrong location or with a wrong name.

Hello,

I've reported this problem to our developers and will inform you here as soon as I have more information.

The developers fixed some bugs now. Please try again with the next beta version.
