I have used TM 2008 for a couple of years and use extensively Math Type 6 as on OLE Object. I just dloaded and installed the trial version of TM 2010 and have discovered that I am unable to edit any equations in existing 2008 TM documents i.e "server program cannot be found".

And even starting a new document I am unable to insert an OLE equation using either Math Type or the lesser Softmaker Equation Editor. What do I need to do to activate these OLE programs. Is this because I am using the trial version?? My plan was to use this improved latest edition of TM to edit my existing 'scientific' .tmd documents.

This can be reproduced but unfortunately we have no fix yet.

A workaround is to reinstall Mathtype 6.5c. Then everything should work like before.

Hello,

the developers fixed the problem now and it should work much better with the next beta version.
