On TextMaker 2008 (Linux) revision 501, bullets aren't displayed if the document is saved in the ODT format. If they are saved in the TMD format the bullets are visible.

Example:

Hello,

thank you for the bug report. The problem seems to be that Open Office Writer cannot display the bullets you created with TextMaker.
When you open the same .odt-file "example_bug.odt" with TextMaker 2008 all the bullets are displayed correctly (the bullets are stored in the file), so I assume it is just a problem in Open Office Writer and not in TextMaker.

Hi Sven,

Whatever the issue, OpenOffice does not have the problem with MS Word. This should be a consideration.

Thanks - as a followup Abiword doesn't show the bullets when opening the document either.

Hey Ryan,

You can't really put Abiword in the same category as TM and OOo can you??? It is VERY limited in what it can do. I think you could get more out online apps like zoho etc. ;)
