Each chapter has up to three master pages (first, odd and even). They are created when a chapter break is inserted. When you have removed all chapter breaks, then only the masterpages of the first chapter are left. To remove these, go to format/chapter, uncheck 'different first page', uncheck 'facing pages'. If page border or shading is set, delete them with the 'Change' button. When back in the document, switch to master view and delete all objects and header and footer.

Please note: Masterpages exist only once and are repeated on each page.

Master pages are labeled in the upper left corner. What do you read there in View :arrow2: Master Pages?

To check this problem we need the file. Is it possible to send it to forum(at)softmaker.de?

Thank you!

Ok, thank you! I referred these files to our developers and will inform you here as soon as I have any information.

Ok, I now get a response from our developers regarding the corresponding (empty) master page for each page:

There are no multiple master pages in this document. The master page is just displayed again and, according to the length of the document.

It simply depends on what you want. Master pages are only useful for repeated content -- stuff that should appear on every page (or every odd or every even page). Stuff that appears only once in the document belongs to the document body.
