I've had this problem on other phpbb forums for a long time and, sure enough, I keep being logged off here, despite enabling "Remember me" when logging on. Some people seem to suffer from it, others don't. FYI I use the latest Firefox stable, but have experienced this problem with many previous versions.

I've been reading up on it and a possible solution, if the mods want to try it, is to enter the ACP, go to "Security settings", and change the "Session IP validation:" setting from "A.B.C" to "A.B" or even "None".

Changed to to "A.B". Please test.

Can you set it to None, and I'll test again.

Ok, the IP validation is off now. I hope it works now for you. If not, it could be also a problem with the cookies in your browser.

After further testing I am still logged on. You may wish to switch it back to A.B.C , as I think I solved the issue (although not exactly sure of the reason for that). Post back here when you have changed it back to the original A.B.C setting, and I'll let you know if I get logged off again.

A.B.C. setting is active again. Please test.

Unfortunately I got logged off again, so what I thought had solved the problem hadn't. Sorry to be a pest, but can you switch it off again ?
