I am using Android version 12 on a Samsung Galaxy S6 Lite.
When I read the instructions on page 161, about creating a new Document Templates, it says:
6. Select the entry Template from the dropdown list Save as type.
7. At this point, TextMaker switches automatically to the folder where the document templates are located.
However, step 7 doesn't happen: I do not see the folder where document templates are located.
I am still able to save my document template file in a different location, but I don't know how to make TextMaker use that template file when I create a new document. Is it possible to create (and use) my own templates in TextMaker 2021 for Android?
Creating a new template is not working in TextMaker for Android
Re: Creating a new template is not working in TextMaker for Android
Thanks for reporting this problem. I have forwarded the details to our developer team for further investigation on this.
Meanwhile, please manually select default template folder which is "/storage/emulated/0/SoftMaker/TextMaker 2021 templates/".
Or, if you have changed it, you can check location of default template folder by clicking on ribbon command File | Options | Files tab | Template folder field.
