Hello,

SMASH = SoftMaker Application SHell, which means it's a quick starter for our application. It gets placed into the system tray. When double clicking at a program icon there, the corresponding program gets loaded.

You can disable smash by invoking Start=>Run, type: msconfig.exe and press Enter, change to "Startup" and remove the tick left from "Smash".

That's very useful to know! I have found a way to remove it from the icon tray but now I want it back again (for both TextMaker 2006 and for PlanMaker 2006). Have you any advice (short of reinstalling) how I can reinstate SMASH icons for TM and PM to the status bar?

You can stat it every time manually:

Start=>Programs=>SoftMaker Office=>Utilities=>Smash
