Had used Beta 1 and worked nicely.
Just downloaded Beta 3 and instead of a white background I have a black background.
It is now basically unusable since one can't see anything.

I will report this to the developers.

Three things:

1. Which version of Ubuntu are you using?

2. Which color palette have you set in Ubuntu?

3. Does it help if you go to Tools/Options/Appearance and switch from "Linux (system colors)" to "Linux (gray)"?

You are using Xubuntu with parts of Gnome installed. SoftMaker Office picked the Gnome colors but they were invalid.

This will be fixed in the final release.
