I have a file on my pc that is in excel. The cells are formatted to "text" so I can search for a number (such as a part number). When I open the documents using the planmaker for mobile and save it the planmaker changes all the formatting to the default which is "general". When that happens the search will not find numbers. The number format category "text" is not on the planmaker. Is this something that can be added to the planmaker and if so is it going to be along time for that to happen? Thanks.

A text format in the cell format dialog (Format=>Cell) is on our wish list for the next version of PlanMaker. Currently you need to write an apostrophe (') to set an cell format to text (e.g. '123 instead of 123).
