I have encountered an issue that I cannot reliably reproduce, though I know what I am doing to cause the issue.

I have drafted a block of text in TextMaker. Nothing fancy, using MS Arial Unicode font. When finished, I highlighted my text, right-clicked and selected "Copy". Then, I moved over to Firefox and selected a text box in which to paste my text. Right-clicked, selected "Paste", and TM shut down without warning. Worse, the text didn't paste. :( If this happened only once I would have assumed I did something dumb, but it has happened more than once, with several power-downs in between each incident.

Of course, I was silly enough not to save my text first...

After this happened, I reopened TM, entered some text and again tried to copy/paste into Firefox, and it worked without issue. :?:

Assuming that I am alone with this problem, where should I be looking to capture more useful information for reporting?

Environment is latest SM Office 2010 on Scientific Linux 5.5 (RHEL 5.5 recompile) 32-bit, kernel is 2.6.18-194.11.3, dual-core 2.1GHz with 3GB RAM and plenty of disk space.

For what it's worth, I attempted to re-create this problem but could not. I do not have MS fonts installed. I have the latest versions of SM Office and Firefox.

I'm running xubuntu 10.04, dual CPU each 2.1Ghz, 2G memory, about 200G free disk space.

I tried it with Fedora 13 and Ubuntu Linux and also could not reproduce it. Please let us know if TextMaker crash again. Thank you!
