I am running the trial version on Mint 10 AMD64 and 32bit Mint 10 on my laptop. I have found the following problems.

1) The 64bit trial version does not render menu fonts correctly, possibly even document text which does look better on the 32 bit version
2) On trying to move documents between my laptop and base station I cant open the document and receive a message "This document was not created with this version... "
3) I cant "show" presentations ... only half the presentation window is visible. NVIDIA 9200, 1024*768 and 1360*768 in TwinView
4) Is there a presenter console for presentations ?

Can you let me know if 1-3 are resolved in the full version (596?) please and also if there is a presenter console available in the full version.

That's on the wish list for future versions.


That's a limitation of the trial version. You cannot open a file which was saved from a trial version with another trial version. You can only open such files either with the same trial version or with a full version.


That's not reproducible here and no other customers reported such a problem. Does that also happen if you change the screen solution, use another graphic card driver or use another Linux distribution?


That's on the wish list for future ersions but not available in SoftMaker Presentations 2010.

I would really appreciate a fix on the 64bit text rendering. It is very usable but hard on the eyes towards the end of the day.
The presentation show problem on my 64 bit system is related to the NVIDIA display modes. If I crack it it will post a "Solved"
