I have installed the trial version off SO2010 on my Ubuntu 11.04 machine and all seems to work very well and very fast. I just have a problem with the print interface.
If I want to print a document, the interface gives very few possibilities. It prints but I can just choose the number of copies and which pages. The "configure" button gives only the options on 96, 150 or 300dpi and postscript or pdf.
With my other applications (i.e. pdf viewer) I have the gnome printing interface (or very similar like in LibreOffice) which gives me a number of posibilities selectable with tabs like Color, Page Quality etc. Within these I can choose double sided, papersize, orientation, paper quality, 600dpi and image types like Photographs or Text documents.
I would like to have these in Softmaker Office to (certainly double sided).
Is there any possibility to change some file in SO so that the gnome printing interface gets used in stead of the simplified?
The printer driver is cups+gutenberg for a Canon IP4000 printer.
If this is possible I will bye the product.
Anyone any idee?
