I am a happy user of Softmaker Office 2008 for Linux, under Xubuntu (Ubuntu + XFCE). If I upgrade to Office 2010 will I experiment some advantage from the advertised "Integration into KDE and Gnome"? XFCE is a DE which use the same GTK toolkit of Gnome, but I do not know whether the integration is something Gnome-specific. (Sorry for posing this question even if there is a trial version, but in Linux it is notoriously not easy to install two different versions of the same program...).

I answer to myself. I have read the thread http://www.softmaker.com/diskussion/viewtopic.php?f=141&t=11165 (auf Deutsch) and I can summarize the facts like this: integration with XFCE is not *supported*, but sometimes it works nonetheless (at least with Xubuntu). So I will give a try...
