Dear Softmaker,
I use standard Debian 6 and I just bought SMO2010 for Linux after few days of tests. I didn't expect that such problem can exist today ;-)
Whole Debian can handle Czech with accent chars with no problem. In gedit I can write accented n (ň) and is displayed correctly, same with ť.
These 2 chars are specific as they are not available on keyboard and to get these, shift & '+' and then 'n' or 't' must be pressed.
Is there any fix for this ?
despite ň is not very often, is required

thanx

Adam Sida

I referred that problem to the developers and will inform you here as soon as I have more information.

Workaround: You can define hotkeys for every character via Insert=>Symbol.

Could you please tell us your revision number in Help=>About in TextMaker? It should be rev 600.

This problem has been fixed and should work with the current version if the UTF-8 locale is installed.
