How do I install fontman.exe (from the CD I purchased}. When I attempt to open the autorun.inf in Windows 7, as administrator, I get an error message: "Registry could not be opened for SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\Current Version\Type 1 Installer\Type 1 Fonts". SoftMaker 2010 is installed on an SSD other than C:\. When I attempt to open fontman.exe, as administrator, I get: "Cannot create file C:\Windows\Fonts\SoftMaker Fonts\fontman.cfg". Softmaker 2010 works well, other wise. Is there a work around for installing your fonts? I can add selected fonts to selected groups in "Font manager" by right clicking on them. How do I get them into Windows\Fonts?

I reinstalled SoftMaker 2010 on my C:\ drive (typical installation) and still couldn't run fontman.exe ......same error message. Why "Registry couldn't be opened"? Is Font manager compatible with Windows 7?

You have to run it as administrator, and you can ignore this one error message at the beginning (it's harmless).

We are working on getting this fixed.

Thank you Martin. I did get some MegaFonts installed. I noticed that "my font" groups don't carry over to subsequent runs of fontman....no biggie.
