Is there a way of changing the settings, so that messages appear in reverse date order? (I mean - the most recent message first and the first message last.)

I think ski asks about the postings in this forum.

In the upper right hand corner, click on "User control panel". The next screen has a sidebar "Options" on the left side. Choose "Board preferences" and then "Edit display options". In the bottom line, there is "Display post order direction". Change it to "Descending".

I send you my very grateful thanks yet again Jossi.
In spite of looking earlier on at the user control panel, I could see no way how to do this - and would never have worked it out.
