I see I can add a sheet, but don't see any method to copy a sheet.
It would be much faster for me to start from an existing sheet
than to have to recreate a whole sheet in basic maker with all formatting.
Thanks.

Hello,

you could load an existing sheet and save under a new name after editing the sheet.

I am not sure I understand
what you mean by "load".
I am not speaking about a full workbook,
but about a worksheet in current workbook
The workbook may not have been saved.
( I just want to use the script as a macro from a workbook )
May you show me some example code ?
Thanks.

Sorry, I have to correct myself. This is not yet implemented. I opened an feature request to make that possible in future versions.

Ok, got it.
I think basicmaker is a good tool, but you are not putting enough
development effort on it, diverting on too many things maybe ?
:)
Also I agree with previous post that just running scripts is too limited
for a user.
I would really love to be able to assign a script to a button
and save a script with a workbook or a text document.
Also providing some security scheme both for user and providers
would be nice
This way we could really develop solutions with softmaker
that we can provide to an end-user.
Does not seem to difficult to implement.
You need to enable developpers to create an eco-system.
:)
Thanks.
