Thank you..
2nd suggestion..
when highlighting text, would be nice
to have a 1 step process vs having to
choose Format or Right click, then
Character, then Background color
then choose the color and ok...
If one button available for "highlighting"
that could have a default color setting
it would be a lot easier to do multiple
highlights...
Thank you again.. great product!
RE: Invoking "highlighting text" / "giving text a background"...OK, already answered, but for those that might like a "how-to do it"...
Jossi earlier showed us the short step-by-step way:
Try
Tools >>
Customise >>
Toolbars.... Then, choose "
Format" in the left field (Group), scroll down in the right field to "
Background colour", click on the instruction icon, and draw it (drag it with the mouse) into your toolbar.
Now you can select any portion of text and highlight it in any colour you want (even different ones) from the drop-down list.
By the way, the highlighting is preserved in PDF export, too, as well as the RTF file format or when you save your Textmaker efforts as RTF. It should also be preserved when you save in other graphic-capable file formats.
The above instructions actually make it sound harder than it is, but it's quite easy to invoke highlighting and with very few steps to have to take.
