I'm using Presentations with Xubuntu (Ubuntu + XFCE). When I double-click a .pps file in the File Manager (Thunar), the presentations does not start automatically, but is opened as if it were a .ppt file. Which is the command I have to associate in in order to get the correct behaviour? Perhaps have I to add some command line option? I've found no information in the manual. Thank you very much!

Hello,

you need to change the file associations for pps files in your Linux and/or file manager. I've forwarded a bug report to our developers because it seems that the setup does not associate the file types with the SoftMaker applications.

In case I haven't explain well the problem: .pps files *are* associated with Softmaker Presentations, and they are opened, but they don't start automatically. So I conclude that the setup does associate the file types, but with some subtle error.
