The naming will be SoftMaker Presentations, as most other names are either protected trademarks or don't sound very well.

The Windows version of DataMaker and SoftMaker Presentations will be released this year. However, there is no fixed release date yet.

After the release of SoftMaker Office 2007 for Windows we will take a look at other platforms.

We are SoftMaker, the developers of the software. Ashampoo is a reseller which sells a special version of our office suite called Ashampoo Office.

Currently we are working on BasicMaker 2007, DataMaker 2007 and Presentations 2007. Later we will update TextMaker and PlanMaker to 2007 version as well. Maybe we can talk about other programs after the release of Office 2007. Currently there are no resources for developing an e-mail client.

Our software should work with every distribution. That's why we only provide a tarball.
Maybe we can find a better solution in future, which also work on all distributions.

At first we have to finish the Windows version. If the demand is large enough, we will take a look at porting our software. But this will take some time.

Well, currently we have a lot of other projects we need to finish first. Of course, we also have to port these programs, too.
Additionally, the demand for a web browser for Windows CE is not that large.

Maybe we will implement a better spam protection mod soon.
