Instructions

1.	Click on the Download button above to download the Service Pack.
2.	Launch the Service Pack by double-clicking on it.
3.	The installer will ask you for the folder where SoftMaker Office is installed. Usually, this folder is detected automatically. If not, enter it manually.
4.	When you press OK, SoftMaker Office will be updated.

All applications

	Mirroring and rotating grouped objects works again.
	Links to e-mail addresses are now exported correctly to PDF documents.
	The portable USB stick version of SoftMaker Office does not attempt to write to the local WIN.INI file anymore.
	Feature: The spell-checker now detects missing spaces ("wethink" -> "we think") for all languages except German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Norwegian (because of the specific use of compounds in these languages).
	Feature: The German spell-checker now also suggests corrections for umlauts ("gluecklich" -> "glücklich").

TextMaker 2008

	Improvements to the MS Word filter (size of files containing OLE objects decreased, placement of tables in text frames improved, several other improvements)
	OpenDocument filter: Added ability to import and export line numberings.
	Several improvements to the RTF filter.
	Fixed some problems with guide lines on master pages.
	Fixed a crash of the search & replace command when "Track Changes" was activated.
	Fixed the "Previous zoom level" command.
	Line numberings in the vicinity of tables return the same results as Microsoft Word now.
	Feature: Added optional toolbar icons and keyboard shortcuts for increasing or decreasing the font size (available via the Tools > Customize command).
	Feature: Added optional toolbar icon for copying text to the clipboard as plain text.
	Feature: Added optional toolbar icon for pasting the clipboard content as plain text.
	Feature: Numbered lists: Added a command to end or remove a numbering.
	Feature: Added ability to insert non-breaking hyphens (using Ctrl+Shift+Minus).
	Feature: Added an option to make soft hyphens visible in the document (Tools > Options > View).

PlanMaker 2008

	Improvements to the TextArt feature
	Fixed a bug related to the import of conditional formattings in MS Excel files.
	Several improvements to the display of charts
	When editing the content of a cell formatted with a symbol font, a non-symbol font is displayed instead.
	Fixed a bug that could lead to increased font sizes when importing PlanMaker 2001/2004/2006 files.
	When worksheet names contain characters that are not allowed in Excel, such as [ ] : ? *, a warning message is displayed when the file is saved in .xls format, including an option to automatically rename these worksheets.
	Feature: Added optional toolbar icons and keyboard shortcuts for increasing or decreasing the font size (available via the Tools > Customize command).

SoftMaker Presentations 2008

	Fixed a bug that limited the date formats available in headers and footers to English formats.
	Added ability to use MP3 and MID sound files in presentations.
	Improvements to the MS PowerPoint filter (.wav files, AutoShapes)
	Improvements to the RTF import filter
	Printing in black and white works again.
	Feature: Added an option to make invisible objects visible in the document (File > Properties > View).
