Thunderbird 52: What's new?

Dear SoftMaker customers:

Thunderbird 52 has been released. With immediate effect, it is available to users of SoftMaker Office 2016 as a free update.

Besides bug fixes, the new version offers a slew of new features. In the course of its release, we have updated the SoftMaker add-ons to make them compatible with the new version of Thunderbird.

Tablet computers in the classroom

Since last school year, the students at Friedrich Staedtler School in Nuremberg-Neunhof are happy to have a very special teaching tool: SoftMaker has fully equipped two classes with modern tablet computers.

In the second part of our "Tips and tricks" series, Klaus Bailly, our guest author and a SoftMaker volunteer, explains how you can print out a multi-page TextMaker document in the form of a booklet: namely by fitting two regular pages each on each side of an A4 or Letter sheet. The objective is to receive a stack of printed pages, which can be made into a booklet by simply folding them in the middle.
